AutismDown syndrome

Every child belongs
in the classroom.

At Lion Queen, children with autism and Down syndrome learn alongside classmates in their own grade, with one-on-one support each week, following the same ECZ curriculum and syllabus.

And currently, the fees are the same as the fees for your child's grade.

A hybrid model:
the best of both worlds.

We don't separate children from their peers. We combine time in the regular classroom with focused one-on-one sessions.

In class, with their peers. Your child spends the majority of the week in the classroom with other learners in their grade, taking part in lessons, break times and school life.

One-on-one, where it counts. Each week, your child has one or two individual sessions that give extra, personal attention.

  • Most of the week learning with classmates in their grade
  • One or two one-on-one sessions every week
  • Follows the ECZ curriculum and syllabus
  • Builds friendships and everyday social skills
  • Helps every learner see inclusion as normal

builds belonging.

SOCIAL SKILLS

Learning from peers

Being in class every day gives children real chances to talk, play, share and make friends with classmates their own age.

CONFIDENCE

A place in the group

Taking part in the same lessons and routines as everyone else helps children feel they are a full member of their class.

ACADEMICS

The same curriculum

Your child follows the ECZ curriculum and syllabus, so their learning stays connected to their grade and their classmates.

The same fees
as your child's grade.

Currently, the fees for the SEN programme are equivalent to the fees of each grade. There is no separate SEN fee.

You can view the current fees for every grade on our main website.

No. Your child spends the majority of the week in class with other learners in their grade. In addition, they have one or two one-on-one sessions each week.

Does my child follow the same curriculum?

Yes. Learning follows the ECZ curriculum and syllabus, so your child stays connected to what their grade is learning.

Are the fees higher for SEN learners?

No. Currently, SEN fees are equivalent to the fees of the grade your child is in.

Why learn alongside other children instead of separately?

Learning in a regular class every day gives children natural chances to build friendships and social skills, and helps all learners grow up with understanding and respect for one another.
